Red Deer Polytechnic is hiring a permanent, part-time (0.5 FTE), Faculty Recruiter to work within the School of Health and Wellness to provide full cycle recruitment and onboarding support for Faculty.

This role is eligible for hybrid work with a requirement to work on main campus in order to facilitate the required recruitment and onboarding activities.

Position Responsibilities
The Faculty Recruiter is responsible for:
  • Coordinating the hiring of faculty members which includes but is not limited to creating job postings, scheduling and participating in interviews, completing reference checks, and supporting the issuance of the employment contract.
  • Developing and executing creative recruitment solutions in alignment with current best practices and RDP values.
  • Ensuring the successful onboarding of the new faculty members.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with proven experience recruiting in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 including expertise with Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) certification.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Experience working in a post-secondary environment and/or health-care environment.

Salary or Hourly? Salary
Salary $30.04 - $35.14 per hour
