Position Title Gifts Administrator & Prospect Researcher
Position Summary
External Relations is inviting you to join their team as a permanent full time Gifts Administrator & Prospect Researcher.

The External Relations Gifts Administrator & Prospect Researcher manages and advises on the donor and partnerships tracking process. The incumbent conducts research on identified prospects to provide accurate and relevant information to members of the Philanthropy and Alumni Relations team. This position is solely responsible for the analysis and processing of each individual gift to RDP to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness in the gift transaction and receipt process. The incumbent will work closely with the Information Management Lead to analyze system information, provide recommendations to enhance system functionality, and act as a resource for the area of data management and financial processing.
Position Responsibilities
Your major responsibilities are as follows:
  • Fund Development, Sponsorship Activation and Fulfillment
  • Gift & Constituent Records Management
  • Prospect Research and Identification
Required Qualifications
  • Two years of post-secondary training or completion of a post-secondary certificate
  • Two to Three years’ experience in advancement support, database entry and reporting, and fund management.
  • Motivated to work in fundraising/philanthropic industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with advanced critical thinking skills to analyze data and recommend changes to enhance functionality.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player who must be able to work independently with minimal instruction from supervisor.
  • Capacity to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with stakeholders, staff, volunteers, etc.
  • Complete confidentiality and discretion, sound judgement
  • Excellent Excel capabilities and experience with Pivot Tables Excel Charts.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be capable of analyzing variables and making logical recommendations / decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of university in a related program representing four years of study or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year’ direct hands-on experience with Raiser’s Edge.
Salary or Hourly? Salary
Salary $55,499 - $64,926 annually
